The four event groups are FITNESS, STRENGTH, TEAM, and ENDURANCE.
Stretcher Run. 3 teammates, 1 person along for the ride. This is a grueling 1/2 mile run. The only rule is 1 person has to stay on the stretcher at all times during a segment of this race. You figure out how you’re going to get from point A to point B.
Car Push/Pull Relay. You are your teammates work together to push our vehicles…then pull them back to where you started!
Tire Flip For Time. Work together, and get that tire to it’s destination! You have to cover a distance (you won’t know until the RAMPAGE) but at least you have 3 friends to help you. Fun fun fun!
Climb For Time. You and your teammates must climb the wall sponsored by VERTICAL DREAMS indoor rock climbing as many times as you can in the time provided! Extra points awarded for more challenging walls!
CHUG-A-LUG CONTEST. This is the last event and is SPONSORED BY MURPHY’S TAPROOM. Have you seen beerfest? This is the official tie break event for teams finishing overall with the same point total!
The Mad Dash aka 1 mile run. Can you break the 7 minute mark? This is one of the last events – so if you haven’t ‘bonked’ yet, those legs will have to carry you…just a little bit further.
Press For Reps. Do as many reps as you can – how strong is your upper body? The bar has to touch your chest, and you have to hold the lockout position for 1 full second. No exceptions. If your butt, head, or feet lose contact with the bench/floor the repetition doesn’t count. Men: 155 lbs. Women: 65lbs.
Crucifix Hold. SSS. Superior Shoulder Strength prevails. Women use 8lb dumbbells, men use 15lb dumbbells. Hold the weight at shoulder height as long as possible.
Popeye Twists. Strong to the finish because you eat your spinach? Well, we’ll find out. Get ready for some serious burnnnnnnn! You may not be able to drive home after this event.
Run ’til Your Legs Fall Off. Run until you can’t run anymore. Maximum cardiovascular exertion. Run back and forth 20 meters as many times as you can keeping up with the beeps. The test gets harder the longer you go because you get less rest!
Team Flip Cup. The rules are simple. Consume your beverage as fast as you can, flip your cup and get it to land upside down. Repeat x3. Team with the fastest time wins!
Beruit Challenge. A spin on an old classic. 12 cups per team. 5 minutes to play. All 4 team members take a shot per round. The team that scores the most points during the time limit wins! No re-racks. 4 ping pong balls in play at all times. Special bonus points for hitting the same cup with multiple shots. Elbow rule in effect…leaners not allowed!
